Last week of School for the Year

As anticipated, the last two weeks have flown by.

The coming week will be our last week of school this year.

Class parties will be on Thursday.

The time of the parties will depend on the class.

If you want to help, please feel free to contact the teacher.

Kinder Report Cards

We will be sending home a report card tomorrow.

Please look for it in the backpack.

Kindergarten is the only grade sending home a report care this week.

Veterans Day Assembly

One of my favorite days of the year is Veterans Day.

There are 500 singing children.

Veterans from the community.

And these two are parents of a Kindergarten students.

And a general feeling of love and gratitude.  

Veterans Day Assembly

Tomorrow, November 11th, there will be a Veterans Day Assembly at 10:20.

The kids will be singing. 

You are welcome to come and honor the Veterans.

All students are invited to wear red, white or blue.

Color Words

We just finished a theme about colors and color words.

Please keep practicing at home.

Pumpkin Day

Have you ever wondered what we do on Pumpkin Day?

Some times we weigh them 

or see which weighs more,

a pumpkin or a tomato.

We guess how much string it takes to wrap around a pumpkin.

Make pumpkin books.

Play pumpkin memory games.

More weighing,

More books,

more measuring,

and a little painting.

And plenty of Fun!

Count down chains

We made 'count down to the end of October chains' today.

The kids love doing this.

And they love showing them off,

so I hope you have found yours 

and are counting down with them.

As I was cleaning up today,

I found this picture.

It made me smile.

I feel lucky to have my job.

Report Card Testing

We started report card testing today! 

I have to admit, it was fun to see the progress

our little kiddos have made.
